Virginia Family Dentistry Short Pump General Dentist Dr. Neil Turnage will be retiring at the end of the year. We wish him the best in his future endeavors! Read on for his retirement letter.
To My Valued Patients,
While dentistry is my passion, I have to thank you, my valued patients, for making being a dentist a fun job. I have truly appreciated the opportunity to get to know you and hear about your families, careers, and hobbies. It has been an honor for me to be your dentist. Thank you for trusting me with your dental care, and I hope I have been deserving of your trust. The last 26 years with VFD have been amazing! Now it is time to move to another phase of life.
One of my roles over the years at VFD that I have especially enjoyed has been to recruit, vet, and help train new dentists who join our practice. Finding the right person to fill my spot was a “big deal” to me. That is why I was excited when Dr. Julien Guh decided to join our practice in August. Completing a two-year General Practice Residency after dental school has prepared him well to provide quality dental care, and he is a super nice guy. I feel confident that you will be in good hands with Dr. Guh or with any of the highly qualified dentists in our office. Our front desk staff looks forward to making your transition to your new dentist as smooth a process as possible.
I will certainly miss my work, co-workers that I love and respect, and patients that seem more like friends and family than patients. Thank you again for the opportunity to provide dental care for you over the years. I extend my best wishes for your future health and happiness.
Very truly yours,
J. Neil Turnage, DDS
