To My Dear Patients,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the trust and confidence you placed in me to take care of your dental needs through the years. It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement from dentistry effective August 31, 2017.
As most of you know, I have been dealing with arthritis in my hands. I had hoped that the surgery on my right hand last fall would allow me to again practice dentistry pain free. Unfortunately, this has not been the case.
It has been an honor and a pleasure to have practiced and to have been a partner with Virginia Family Dentistry (formerly W. Baxter Perkinson, DDS and Associates) for 34 years. I will be leaving behind an excellent group of dentists who look forward to taking care of you, your family and your friends. The doctors at the IronBridge location, Drs. Edward “T” Jordan, Pete Appleby, Keith Eldridge, Allison Purcell, Jeff Laughlin and our new associate Dr. Erin Sharkey are highly qualified doctors who will be happy to continue your dental treatment. I can assure you they will provide the gentle, friendly, high quality dental care that you are used to receiving.
I want to thank all of you. Many of you are not just patients but friends that I look forward to seeing and “catching up” with every visit. My life has been enriched by your sharing life’s experiences with me and you mean more to me than you will ever know. I hope our paths will cross again in the future.
With sincere thanks,
Kit Tucker Sullivan, DDS
