To My Dear Patients,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the trust and confidence you have placed in me to take care of your dental needs through the past few years. It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my departure from Virginia Family Dentistry effective August 1, 2022.
As most of you know, I have an almost two-year-old son and a newborn daughter. Over the past year, finding a work-life balance has been very difficult for me and after much thought and prayer, I have decided to take a step back from my career as a dentist and focus on spending time with my growing family.
It has been an honor and a pleasure to have practiced with Virginia Family Dentistry for the past 4 years. I will be leave behind an excellent pair of dentists looking forward to taking care of you, your family, and your friends. The doctors at the New Kent location are Dr. Erik Roper, who most of you may have already met, and our new associate Dr. Anthony Schaapman, who has been with our practice for a year and has proven to be an excellent practitioner. Both doctors will be happy to continue your dental care and future treatment. I can assure you that they will provide the same gentle, friendly, and high quality care that you are used to receiving.
Thank you for letting me be part of you and your family’s lives. I have sincerely enjoyed serving you and I have valued your relationships greatly. I wish you all only the very best.
