Dr. Kate Doss was raised in Richmond where she graduated from St. Catherine’s School. She went on to Virginia Tech, graduating with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then moved back to Richmond to earn her dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, which she completed in 2013. Dr. Doss left Virginia after dental school to pursue advanced education in general dentistry in a one-year residency program at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Richmond Dental Society.
Dr. Doss has a passion for dentistry, especially the artistic aspects, and believes that keeping up with the latest innovations is very important for high quality patient care. She has been trained to provide comprehensive care and strives to make her patients actively involved in their own oral care. She takes pride in keeping her dental knowledge current by attending continuing education courses, study clubs, and various dental conventions. She provides treatments ranging from fillings and extractions to root canals and implants. She is certified to offer sedation options to make her patients as comfortable as possible.
In her free time she enjoys reading a good book, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Justin, their children, and their cocker spaniel, Jack.
