Dr. Laura Satoski was born in Bogota, Colombia. Dr. Laura’s family moved to Virginia Beach, VA where she attended high school at Princess Anne High School. She attended college at VCU in Richmond, VA. She volunteered at Crossover Ministries throughout her undergraduate years, sparking her passion for serving our community and providing dental care for pediatric patients. She attended dental school at VCU and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2020. She was involved in Give Kids a Smile Day and Missions of Mercy Projects throughout her dental school experience. She continued her education at VCU to earn a Master of Science in Dentistry while specializing in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Laura loves being a part of a child’s journey towards long-lasting oral and overall health. She is passionate about educating children and their families on disease prevention and guiding families through the growth and development of their child. She believes that going to the dentist should be a fun experience for children. Dr. Laura’s favorite part of being a pediatric dentist is working through a child’s fears and anxieties in the dental office to improve their perception of going to the dentist.
She is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Richmond Dental Society.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, Alex, their daughter, Emilia, and their dogs, Lucy and Moose. She enjoys traveling with her family, exploring restaurants in Richmond and new cities, and spending time outdoors.
