Dr. Gabrielle Nelson was born and raised in Salisbury, Maryland until moving to southern Virginia in 2012 to start high school. She went on to attend Randolph-Macon College, where she earned All-American honors as a standout soccer player and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Driven by a passion for healthcare and community service, Dr. Nelson pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Nelson is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality dental care and believes in building trusting relationships with her patients. She is especially passionate about serving underserved and rural communities, a dedication rooted in her upbringing in rural Virginia. She values being a strong team player, recognizing that collaboration among dental staff and clear communication with patients are essential for providing seamless and effective care.
Currently residing in Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Nelson enjoys staying active by playing soccer, running, playing with her golden retriever Cooper, and cheering on her favorite college and NFL football teams.
