Richard Marcus was born in Austin, Texas, and raised in Vestal, New York. He traveled to Union College in Schenectady, New York, where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Biology. Dr. Marcus then came to Richmond for dental school where he graduated Cum Laude from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. Dr. Marcus moved to Detroit, Michigan, for his specialty training in orthodontics.
Dr. Marcus earned a Certificate in Orthodontics as well as a Masters Degree in Orthodontics from the University of Detroit-Mercy. Following his specialty training, Dr. Marcus returned to Richmond where he raised his three boys.
Dr. Marcus’ hobbies include skiing, swimming, and golf. And although his playing days are over, he loves to watch soccer.
