Dr. Jordan is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and the youngest of three boys. His first visit to a dental office occurred when he was in the 5th grade. During that visit he had tons of questions for the dentist. Edward became fascinated by the dentist because he was patient and answered his inquisitive questions and was hooked ever since.
After serving seven years in the Navy, Edward joined Virginia Family Dentistry. Edward is an alumnus of Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry. When not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters, family and friends. He also enjoys bowling, fishing, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
The things he enjoys most about dentistry are helping and meeting new people, as well as working with his hands. He believes that if a patient is receiving routine oral health care, yet continues to have poor oral healthcare, then it is not totally the patients’ fault. He feels his obligation as a dentist, is to educate his patients on how to improve and maintain their oral health. Dr. Jordan believes dentistry has come a long way and a majority of the population is unaware of some of these changes. As a dentist he feels obligated to inform all patients about these new advancements and keep himself up to date with the latest training when it comes to quality oral healthcare.
