Pediatric Dentist at VFD Ironbridge | Practicing Since 2018

Dr. David Voth was born in Johnson City, TN.  In his childhood, Dr. David’s family moved to Lynchburg, VA where he attended high school at Virginia Episcopal School.  He attended college at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA.  During his time in high school and college he was involved with the Boys and Girls Club as well as the Big Brothers Big Sisters’ program where he helped with after school care to children.  He moved to Richmond, VA in 2009 to attend Virginia Commonwealth University where he earned his Master’s degree in business administration.  In 2018 he graduated from VCU Dental School after four years of clinical and academic training.

He completed two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry where he learned the specific skills needed to provide dental care to children.   He loves working with children and enjoys finding fun and playful ways to help a child maintain a healthy mouth.  Dr. David has a specific interest in the growth and development of his patients.  One of Dr. David’s top priorities is to monitor the eruption of the teeth and ensure proper function of a child’s gums, teeth, and joints.  Dr. David’s daily goal is to give children a safe and fun experience at the dentist while partnering with parents to answer questions on pediatric oral health care.

When Dr. David is not practicing in the Richmond area he enjoys being involved in mission dentistry where he provides dental care to people in underserved areas.  He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Richmond Dental Society.

When Dr. David is not in the office he loves spending time with his wife Stephanie, two children Jett and Birdie and their dog Weller.  He has many interests.  He is a private pilot, beekeeper, gardener, cook, and avid outdoorsman.
