Dr. Garcha is a native of Virginia, growing up in Herndon, Virginia, where he attended Herndon High School. He has had a passion for dentistry since high school, where he would regularly spend his summers shadowing dentists in the Herndon, Virginia area. He attended Virginia Tech and graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Honors Degree in Biology. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Garcha decided to pursue additional training and completed a two-year general practice residency at the University of Virginia Medical Center, where patient care centered around treating medically compromised patients and patients with special needs. While at the University of Virginia Hospital and in Charlottesville, Dr. Garcha served as chief resident and was a volunteer at the local free clinic.
Dr. Garcha enjoys establishing long-term relationships with his patients and really doing what he can to establish trust with his patients. His primary focus is patient communication throughout every aspect of treatment to ensure that his patients are also involved in every aspect of their oral health care. Dr. Garcha is motivated to provide his patients with the highest quality of care and is a big proponent of educating his patients. He also serves as a member of the Virginia Dental Association and American Dental Association.
After traveling all around the state for his education, Dr. Garcha’s love for Richmond brought him back to the Richmond area. In his free time, he enjoys personal fitness, golf, barbequing, playing and watching most sports, and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys dining out at various restaurants and exploring the various breweries in the Richmond area.
