Endodontist at Virginia Family Dentistry Staples Mill | Practicing Since 2017
Dr. Adrianne Castro hails from Woodbridge, VA. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Virginia and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University. After completing her advanced education in general dentistry residency at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, NY, Dr. Castro practiced in Oregon as a general dentist. It was during this time that she decided to specialize in endodontics to help patients save their teeth and get them out of pain in a gentle, comforting manner. She completed her endodontics residency program and earned her Masters of Dental Science degree at Rutgers University.
Serving the community is important to Dr. Castro. She has volunteered in Mission of Mercy projects in VA, DC, and MD as well as the free clinics in Charlottesville and Lynchburg. She is a member of the Richmond Dental Society, American Association of Endodontics, and is a board eligible candidate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Castro running, dancing, hiking, and exploring the restaurant and live music scenes in Richmond. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Stanley, their daughter, and their family and friends.
