Dr. Wong was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia. After receiving his bachelor degree in Chemistry from the University of Virginia, he graduated cum laude from Medical College of Virginia Dental School. As a senior student, Dennis was honored with Senior Student Award, International College of Dentist Award, Outstanding Achievement in Restorative Honors Clinic, and membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon; Dental Honor Society. Dr. Wong also served as adjunct clinical faculty at MCV Dental School.
Dr. Wong lives and practices in Hanover County. Dr. Wong has a passion for aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry. He has received advanced education in oral implantology, periodontics, and advanced dentistry. He received advanced surgical training at the Misch Implant Institute. Dr. Wong is currently a member of the Richmond Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the James River Study Club. Dr. Wong is also a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Wong is certified in nitrous, oral, and IV sedation from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Wong was awarded Top Dentist in Central Virginia by Virginia Living Magazine for 2012, 2013, and 2014. Dr. Wong enjoys weight training, personal fitness, and automobiles. He also enjoys dining out at different restaurants and spending time with his wife, Alayna, and his four wonderful children, Brandon, Bryson, Allison, and Reagan.
