Dr. Steven Forte was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He attained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry in 1995, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Immediately upon graduation, he was accepted as an endodontic resident at the VCU Department of Endodontics and earned his Certificate in Endodontics in 1997. He has been in private practice since that time.
Dr. Forte is a current member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists. He served as President of the Richmond Dental Society, the Virginia Academy of Endodontists, and Secretary/Treasurer of the Virginia Dental Association. In recent years, he has been awarded the Dr. James H. Revere Jr., Outstanding Alumnus Service Award, the Spirit of Service Lifetime Dental Community Volunteer, and was accepted as an Ethics Fellow in the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Forte retired at the end of 2025. He resides in Chesterfield County, Virginia, with his wife. He enjoys spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, fishing, fireworks, severe weather, and traveling.
