Who are Orthodontists?

SmileUP Clear Aligners
SmileUp Clear Aligners are Virginia Family Dentistry’s own custom aligner system, designed for small smile and bite adjustments.
Retainers
Retainers are custom-made to be worn after treatment to help maintain the new position of the teeth.
Orthodontic Appliances
Common orthodontic appliances, such as expanders, lower lingual holding arches and space maintainers are used at Virginia Family Dentistry to support proper tooth and jaw development before or during braces treatment.

Meet Our Orthodontists
Virginia Family Dentistry has five Orthodontic Specialists within the practice. Dr. Dwight Buelow, Dr. Richard Marcus, Dr. Allison Purcell, Dr. Melanie Spears, and Dr. Taylor Varner. Our Orthodontists work with our General Dentists to provide comprehensive care for patients.
