Dr. Mridula Manoj is from Cary, North Carolina. She attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate studies, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. Her love of art and science, combined with her interest in serving her community, led her to the field of dentistry. Following undergrad, Dr. Manoj worked as an assistant at a local dental practice and then was fortunate to be able to attend dental school back at UNC. In dental school, she was involved with the Student Health Action Coalition, an interdisciplinary student-run clinic, to help provide accessible dental care to the local community. After graduating from dental school, she completed a year-long General Practice Residency (GPR) at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, which provided her with advanced training in General Dentistry. While she loved her time in Chicago, she knew her home was on the East Coast and was excited to return after finishing her GPR.
Dr. Manoj’s goal is to provide high-quality dental care for patients while building relationships rooted in compassion and respect. She wants to help patients feel empowered in taking care of their oral and their overall health. Understanding that going to the dentist can be a stressful experience for some, she also strives to ensure that patients feel as comfortable as possible during appointments. Dr. Manoj focuses on regularly pursuing continued education to ensure she provides the best, most up-to-date treatment for her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Manoj loves spending time with her friends and family, playing with her dog, reading new books, listening to podcasts, and trying new restaurants throughout Richmond.
