Dr. Dwight Buelow was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and grew up in Australia, Peru, Norway, and Texas. He earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University. After college, he lived in New Orleans and San Diego before settling in Richmond. Dr. Buelow received his degree in dentistry and his Masters in Orthodontics from the Medical College of Virginia at VCU. Dr. Buelow previously served as part-time faculty for the Orthodontics Department at VCU.
Dr. Buelow enjoys running (and has completed a marathon), fly fishing (especially on the James River), and snowboarding (anywhere there’s snow). He and his wife, Patsy, are the delighted parents of Grayson.
Dr. Buelow also thoroughly enjoys the practice of orthodontics, which he sees as an opportunity to improve a person’s appearance and self-esteem by providing quality treatment in a caring environment.
