Dr. Colleen Nash was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. She received a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in New York. She moved to Richmond where she practiced physical therapy for two years before changing career paths and studying dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University. Upon graduation from dental school, Colleen entered the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at VCU/MCV. This advanced training focused on esthetic restorative dentistry including crowns, bridges, root canal treatments, implant placements, implant restorations, and her favorite procedure, veneers. Colleen received training from Dr. W. Baxter Perkinson Jr. during her residency and joined Virginia Family Dentistry following completion of the certificate program.
