Dr. Deepika Ganesh grew up in Mumbai, India. She received her dental degree from D.Y Patil University in 2010. Thereafter, she entered into private practice as a General Dentist in Mumbai for 4 years. Her interest in Esthetic dentistry and endodontics at that time made her engage extensively in continuing education. She also spent time volunteering with the Rotary Club of Mumbai and was involved in outreach camps, creating awareness and educating patients about the importance of oral health.
Dr. Ganesh’s interest and passion for dentistry, specifically endodontics, brought her to Los Angeles, CA in 2014, where she completed a two-year advanced clinical training in Endodontics at UCLA. She then continued her association with UCLA and completed a two-year endodontic residency program. At UCLA, Dr. Ganesh also devoted her time to dental pulp stem cell research and published in the Journal of Endodontics. She is a Board-eligible member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and has presented at their annual meeting in 2018.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ganesh loves spending time with her parents and close friends. She enjoys traveling to new places, trying various cuisines, and learning different styles of cooking. She trained professionally in dance and loves it as a medium of expression and exercise.
