A Richmond native, Dr. Catherine Perkinson Crichton grew up with her father’s dental practice. Attending St. Catherine’s school and UVA, Dr. Crichton went on to receive her DDS from VCU in 2000, where she won the “Outstanding Student” award in pediatrics, endodontics, community service, and cosmetic dentistry. She worked as a teenager for the practice during her summers, both front desk and chairside, then alongside her dad, learning everything she could from him until his retirement in 2018.
Dr. Crichton practices all aspects of dentistry and specializes in cosmetic smile makeovers. “Giving my patients the ability to smile proudly is so rewarding. I feel very grateful to have chosen a profession that I love.” In 2006 and 2010, Dr. Crichton was voted Best Dentist by Style Weekly. She has also won Best Cosmetic Dentist 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2023 by Richmond Magazine.
Dr. Crichton’s four daughters keep her busy when she isn’t at the office. In her free time, she enjoys acrylic painting and gardening. You can find Dr. Catherine Perkinson Crichton at our Huguenot/Bon Air location.
